By the time you read this, I will have been in Las Vegas for 48 hours. That is, if the nice people at US Customs and Immigration let me across the border one more time. 🙂
This will be my very first time in Las Vegas. Despite the hundreds of Edmontonians I know who flock to the city every year to party and spend, and return tanned and relaxed (or hungover), or perhaps because of them, I’ve never been in a hurry to get here.
I don’t drink, smoke or gamble, and I’ve seen more than my share of big theatrical shows in my lifetime. For the greater portion of my life I’ve been short on cash, so the shopping, while it has appeal, wasn’t a possibility.
That leaves not a lot to do in Vegas, for me. Or at least, that was the impression I was left with. I guess I’ll find out if that is true or not.
Still, I’m here for Mark’s annual pro wrestler’s conference, that he attends every year. He finally coaxed me into attending so I can find out what he gets up to each year.
I’m surrounded by names that perhaps even you have heard of: Steve Austin, Jake “The Snake” Roberts, Diamond Dallas Paige, and more.
In between wrestling conference events, I can workout, swim, window shop and enjoy the heat.
And, d’uh, write.
I’ll take lots of photos to share. 🙂

Also, as of April 2, Byzantine Heartbreak came out of the Amazon Select program, and I have now reinstated it on Smashwords, All Romance eBooks and Kobo.
That means that by now, if Smashwords lives up to its promises, Byzantine may even have reached iTunes, as the Apple channel has weekly distribution. If not, it should only be a week or so more.
