What I’m Reading – October 17, 2014

In short, I’m not reading much of anything right now. But unlike some people who never read at all, not anything, even a newspaper (and I confess that I simply do not understand people like that…do you?), my version of “not much” is probably pretty substantial.

Are you sitting down? I’m reading the print version of this!

I found it in a consignment store and grabbed it for a few quarters. It was a real find, too! I’m only a few chapters in and I’ve slowed down and started using my highlighter…

More for authors than readers, but if you have your own business at all – any business – then this is a great book to grab for yourself.

There’s always something thought-provoking in these magazines, plus fiction, and a list of new releases. In a world where science fiction romance (not futuristic romance, but hardcore rivets and bulkheads science fiction that features an outstanding romance) tends to be completely overlooked even by Romanceland, this is a great publication to keep up with the sub-genre.

Unlike other diet books that tell you what to eat, and sometimes even when and what with, this book is all about what goes on in your head, and how to reprogram your mind toward effective weight loss.

There’s also a highly successful podcast, Inside Out Weight Loss, by the same author, that is great backup for the book. Do start at episode One, if you want to dip into the podcasts.

And that’s it for this month. Too busy writing!
