I’m being utterly boring and anal at the moment. I’m deep into research for another story.
See if you can guess what sort of story it will be from the titles and subject matter of these ancient, dusty old manuscripts (which look a lot like those in the picture, or worse!):
Kings and Vikings – Scandinavia and Europe 700AD – 1100AD
P.H. Sawyer
The Viking World
Stefan Brink, Neil Price
Norse Mythology A-Z
Kathleen Daly
The Vikings — A Very Short Introduction
Julian D. Richards.
…and just because a woman has to have a nibble on something good, sometimes:
Summer on Seeker’s Island
Jana DeLeon, Tina Folsom, Colleen Gleason, Jane Graves, Denise Grover Swank, Liliana Hart, Debra Holland, Dorien Kelly, Theresa Ragan, Jasinda Wilder.
An anthology of romance short stories, all by indie authors, all set on the same island location. Fun.

Obviously something to do with Vikings or the Norse, maybe even Norse Gods. I think that’s an excellent topic for what you write and would love to see the end product. I really have a thing for Norse mythology, almost as bad as my thing for vampire and werewolf mythology so I would get it just to see what you did with it. 😀
Hi Moira:
I just landed back in Canada a few hours ago and caught up with email and my site. Yes — you’re quite right. I’m researching Norse mythology, and vikings for an upcoming book. I have an okay knowledge of both, but for this book, I want to become as much of an expert a fiction writer can become.
Cheers,
Tracy
