Tracy brings serious competition to the big boys of spy thrillers.
If you like John LeCarre, Lee Childs and John Grisham, you will absolutely love this book. It far surpassed my highest expectations.
An unbelievably good book! It is fast moving with so much going on that you will never want to put this book down.
Has it all: mystery, intrigue, action, espionage AND a heroine that isn’t too stupid to live.
A page turner and a pure pleasure.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story!! Due to injuries sustained from a bomb orchestrated by the Kobra, Fabian the volcanologist, falls into the arms of Mischa, the Russian embassy worker. Thus starts their adventurous romance.
The plot makes the reader feel like a passenger in a F1 racing car, hanging on grimly in exitement and exhiliration. Just when you think you have the route figured out, thinking this must be the end, then it is another bend in the story road. Heart racing awesome!
Fabian's personal quest turns Mischa's entire world upside down and flushes out some fascinating people and facts. This book can very easily be made into a wonderfull movie!! I do recommend reading the series in order, to understand it better.
Well done Tracy on another fabulous story in the quest to find the Kobra! I can't wait to see what happens next.
Compulsive reading and an exhilarating story, I loved the balance of thrilling adventure and romance.
With a gradual introduction to set the scene and where/who the players are from the rest of the series, this next instalment then grabs our attention and thrills us with surprises galore!
The main characters are flawed and wounded but there's no overblown angst that we have to battle through, it just makes them real and relatable.
I enjoyed the rapport and subtle attraction between the main characters. I appreciate the little peek into the ongoing stories of some of the other characters of the series too.
I have so much respect for Tracy Cooper-Posey's brilliant writing style. Whilst still being succinct there's an amazing mix of details to immerse us in the scenes with very smart twists and turns to keep us glued and guessing til the last page!
I highly recommend this series and thoroughly enjoyed Heart Strike!
Fabian wears a brace on her leg and is still in recovery. When the powers that be do nothing against the perpetrator, she takes it upon herself to investigate. A volcanologist by trade, she travels to Ukraine to get a resolution. A long train ride has her bumping into Mischa a Russian with a dangerous past, and who poses a great distraction.
The Kobra continues to be the focus of this series, but the personal journey of each character highlighted is fascinating and in-depth providing a delight for the reader.
This is the third installment of a series that has more twists and revelations that leave you wanting more, more, more. A chance meeting leads to so much more betrayal, action, chase scenes, oh and fast cars. Not to mention Mischa is one Russian hottie, who somehow manages to meet Fabian, a chance meeting, or not? Finding out how that event triggers everything that follows is what will kept me reading way past my bedtime. Plus I really want that evil, bad Kobra person to get caught.
