Who are your favorite authors?
Good question. In romance and futuristic, it has to be the queen, Nora Roberts aka J.D. Robb.

What is your favorite novel cover?
That’s a tough one! There are so many great covers out there, that my favorite changes practically minute to minute. At the moment: A.S. Fenichel’s Deception.

What’s the best Hero Moment you’ve ever seen in film?
When Caitlin volunteered to take her sister’s place in the Hunger Games.

What reading device do you use for reading ebooks on?
I’m a Kindle girl.
What is your take on the indie author phenomenon? What do you think the book industry will look like in five years’ time?
I think the indie author phenom is absolutely wonderful. The only downside that I see is that the market is saturated because getting published is so much easier. But that’s a great thing for writers, and readers as well.
The industry in five years…I don’t know. I’m concerned about how many young people will be reading in the future. Cursive writing is disappearing in public schools and to me reading and writing go hand in hand. Reading will always be around, I’m just not sure to what degree. What do you think?
Do you ever skip the “I love you!” scene in your novels? Do you feel you’ve been cheated if they’re missing in other authors’ books?
I try to write what is in my character’s heart. If they’re in the moment, yes. But I don’t push. They set the paceJ
What’s your take on eBook piracy? What would you do about it if you were given carte blanche?
It’s wrong. But as far as what can be done to correct the situation, I don’t know. I’d love to hear your readers’ take. Maybe they have some ideas on what can be done.
If someone offered you immortality, but you could never write again…would you take the offer?
I’ve been writing for more years than I care to remember and I’m too stubborn to give it up now.
What do you want your epitaph to read, at the end of your life?
She made a difference.
What are you currently reading? How’s that going for you?
I’m currently reading Stone and Silt by Harvey Chute. It’s not something I would have normally picked up but I’m enjoying it. I would urge others to do the same. Harvey has stage IV cancer. I can’t think of a better way to support an author than to read his or her book.
What will you be reading next?
I’ve got several downloaded on the Kindle. Probably…M. Gerrick’s The Vanished Knight.

Tell us about your book.
Does everyone or anyone remember when eBay first came on the scene? People were selling anything and everything, no matter how silly. I was writing and half-listening to the news one evening and I heard one of those quick blurbs, and I never heard it again…but it stuck with me, about someone selling a ghost/specter on eBay. Which when you think about it is no stranger than William Shatner auctioning off a kidney stone for charity. But anyhoo, that’s where the idea of Ghost For Sale came from.
Here’s the blurb:
Caitlin King can’t believe that her shopaholic cousin actually bought two ghosts off of eBay. But she can’t ignore the truth when she starts seeing sexy Liam O’Reilly, who’s been dead for over a hundred years. Book excerpt
I left the hotel, walked to my car, and slid in. “Where are you, Liam?” With a twist of the ignition, the engine roared to life. “Come on, Liam.” Why did I have to try that stupid test?
Even though Anna had more claim to him, it didn’t change the fact that I desperately wanted him with me. Being without him didn’t feel right. How had I grown this dependent on him so quickly?
My chest constricted. I couldn’t breathe. After a moment, I finally managed to push air out of my lungs and I eased into traffic. When I reached the stoplight, I was still alone. Tears welled up and spilled over. “You are such a sap.”
“Here now, what’s wrong?” Liam looked at me with the alarmed concern men through the ages have shown when confronted with female tears.
“You’re here.” I reached to hug him. Thank goodness the seatbelt pulled me back or else he’d probably have fried my circuits.
“Tell me what’s troubling you, Caitlin.” He leaned forward, his forehead wrinkled in a frown, his eyes bright with worry.
“Nothing. Nothing now.” My heart sang.
“Did you think I was leaving you?” he asked softly.
“Yes and how crazy is that?”
“I’d rather tear my heart out than leave you,” he said in a voice so low I barely heard it.
Somehow knowing the idea bothered him as much as it did me steadied me. I took a deep breath. “We’ve got to get you to the other side. You don’t want to be a ghost the rest of your existence.”
Silence stretched between us. Finally, he replied, “Here, I know you’re right.” He pointed at his head. “Here, I’m not so sure.” He pointed at his heart.
My stomach fluttered. I cleared my throat. “So did you come voluntarily or were you pulled?”
“I would have found you, but it wasn’t necessary, we’re still bound.”
