Romance novelists (for literacy student)? — this was a discussion on a board I tripped over, and read with sheer amazement at the depth of ignorance and moral superiority displayed…except toward the end they surprised even themselves as they confessed having read more than one decent romance, and even having tried to write one.  But…Barbara Cartland as a recommendation for the best of modern romances????  Read it and weep.

Are you female romance readers sexually unfulfilled or just dirty-minded?  This seems to be the week for me to be tripping over brain-dead people insulting romance readers.  This one is on the Amazon discussion boards, and is a riot.  I really have to wonder if Royalcrab is shy a few cards of a full deck.  What was he thinking, baiting a room full of romance readers?

Blast From The Past (from my archives)

The Ten Best Romantic Moments In Film History  — The first time I ran this post, there was two week’s worth of rollicking debate over what else should be on the list, and I spent the next year catching up with some pretty decent movies I’d never heard of …and some real duds that had me wondering about some of my readers!  🙂

What do you think should be on this list, and isn’t?  Tell me in comments.
