CASUALTIES OF WAR now out!

In a way I’m almost sad that this book has now been released, because excuses to talk about it will be limited in the future.  I like talking about this book, because I get to flaunt the cover.

And I love the cover.  The hero is so perfectly Adán, I feel that Dar Albert, the cover designer, has once more read my mind.  She does that a lot. [See here, and here, and here, and there’s more.]

I also raved about this cover, here.  On review of that post, though, I can see I failed to say why I liked it so much.

It’s not just because the model is Adán to a tee, but that he’s also soaking wet.

There’s a reason why a wet and dripping hero is so, so appropriate for this story — and also for the sea and the night time lighting behind him.

No, of course I’m not going to explain why here!  🙂

If you’ve read the book already (and a large number of readers have), then you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about.  Don’t you agree that this cover is super appropriate for the story?

Casualties of War came out last week.  The pre-order price has been raised to full retail now*, and the book is available in print and ebook everywhere.
