"Well Worth Reading" – 4 Star Review for Ningaloo Nights
The Romance Studio reviewed my erotic romantic suspense from Ellora’s Cave, Ningaloo Nights, recently and their four star review has some wonderful, complimentary nuggets in it that I’ve never about the book before. It always fascinates me as a writer to hear what readers take from my books, so the feedback from this review was particularly interesting:
New York Cop, Sherry Abandonato, has traveled all the way to Ningaloo Australia to find her missing sister. The location she disappeared from is so remote, the only guide who can take her there is Mason Hayward, the most hated man in Ningaloo. She has no choice but to ask for his help. Mason agrees but only if he has complete control over everything, including her. Can Sherry find out what has happened to her sister? Will she ever be the same after the hot Ningaloo nights she spends with Mason?
Ningaloo Nights takes place in Australia. I don’t know much about this country, but the author does a good job of describing the layout of the land. When you’re on the camping trips, the whole landscape is very vivid. I had a little bit of a hard time keeping up with the conversations between Mason and Sherry at the beginning of the book. It seemed a little too coded, but as the book progressed it all smoothed out. The dialogue for the most part was right on. Mason’s dialogue seemed so right on target, I could even hear his Aussie accent in my head. The description of the characters were wonderful. They also seemed to stay true to their personalities throughout the book, even though they grew into more open people. This book is full of hot, erotic sex scenes with a wonderful, trusting relationship building along the way. When you learn of their sad pasts, it really makes you want them to have a happy ending.
Ningaloo Nights is well worth reading. It has kinky sex scenes from the very beginning, with an interesting story unfolding all the way through.
