RomantiCon is 4 Weeks Away

RomantiCon is 4 weeks away exactly, today.

I feel like the top of my head is going to come off, because my new book, Ningaloo Nights, just happens to come out at the same time as the convention, so it’ll be a double whammy, and I’m juggling preparations for both at the same time.

Here’s my schedule so far, for those of you going:

Friday October 9th

2-5.30 p.m.  Author-track workshops — You can catch me between and during panels.  I’m easily distracted at these things. <grin>

7.30-11 p.m.  Psychedelic Soiree.  Someone mentioned go-go boots and mini skirts.  Remember sideburns and that swirley material?  If you’re nodding I know how old you are! :)  The Beatles Rule!

Saturday October 10th

9.30-10.30 a.m.  AuthorMania – Meet the author session.

1.30-2.30 p.m.  AuthorMania – Meet the author session.

7:30-10 pm.  Appreciation Dinner.

Sunday October 11th

11-11.35am – Researching & Writing in Special Generes – Historical Romance Panel with Kathleen Coddington, Mary Anne Chulick/Solange Ayre, and Ruby Storm.

12-3 pm Bookfair featuring Ellora’s Cave and Cerridwen Press authors.  Open to the public!

These are just the formal events I’m committed to attending.  The rest of the time I will be haunting the halls, hanging out with the Ellora’s Cave models (well, d’uh!) and celebrating the launch of my book.  Just getting to the convention is going to be an adventure.  I have a blog tour appearance on the same day, so I’m going to be fielding comments via Blackberry as I’m travelling to Ohio.  Weeeeee!!!!
