Fun Stuff To Do When You're Bored Out Of Your Brain Here.
I’ve been doing a few housekeeping things here on the site, as if I didn’t have enough to do here. But these were essential things that were just screaming out for attention.
Follow me on Facebook and Twitter
I added the Facebook link a while ago, but now I’ve added my Twitter account, just below. If you slide down the sidebar, to the right, they’re just below the recent posts widget. Click on them, and they’ll take you to my Facebook page and Twitter page, where you can connect to me on either.
RSS Feed links.
If you would rather have my posts and/or the comments they engender delivered directly to your favourite RSS Reader, instead of coming here to the blog, now you can do that. I’m running (and tweaking) the feeds via Feedburner and using the HTML option and opting for full feed delivery, so you should get the full surround sound experience, including pictures.
In the next few days or so, in my infinite spare time, I’ll see if there’s a way I can fudge email delivery without using a script (as Wordpress.com doesn’t allow scripts). Feedburner has a link option, but that sends you to Feedburner to sign up, so I’m trying to avoid that option for now. But it might be the last resort, as I’d like to offer email sign up somehow. Stay tuned on this one.
The RSS Feed links are just below the Facebook and Twitter links on the right, too. Look for the orange icons.
Newsletter Archiving
I’ve finally added a page for the newsletter and from this month on will add the newsletter archive to the page. It’s password protected, so only subscribers actually get to open the newsletter and read it. But this means now that I’ve been able to convert the newsletter to full PDF instead of html via email. The newsletter is accessible via the Pages widget. While you’re there, why don’t you sign up? This month’s contest prize is for a $10 Amazon Gift Certificate and a copy of Beth’s Acceptance.
Which camp are you in?
I’ve had a poll running for nearly two weeks now, just to the right there. See? So far, Eric is running a strong 46% in the majority. Yeah! Cast your vote!
