Overview
Erotic romantic suspense series (political thriller) from Ellora’s Cave, by Tracy Cooper-Posey.
Vistaria is an island nation one hundred miles off the coast of Mexico that in the first book, Red Leopard, was populated by an Hispanic race, the Vistarians, that enjoy life, food, women and wine, and work hard. It is an idyllic place, but was overshadowed by the threat of rebellion. During the first book the rebels—the Insurrectos — took over Vistaria and the benign governing junta, executing the president. The president’s brother, the hero of the first novel, Nick Escobedo, gathers the remaining leaders of Vistaria under his control and settles temporarily in Acapulco to plan the defeat of the Insurrectos and the return of Vistaria to its people once more.
The winning back of Vistaria by Nicolás Escobedo and his people, and the governing of the new country, which will be fraught with its own problems, will be a a challenge from book to book.

Reviews
A great read that will have you glued to the pages!!!
The characters, the setting, and even the storyline are unique and fun.
It combines a political thriller with an erotic, sensual read that builds and builds, and — well, you get the picture
With a good, strong plot, the reader is thrown into a fictitious but surprisingly realistic Latin American country that is dangerous and politically unsafe; in short, a perfect setting.
Pros: Fresh new idea. Cons: none.
Not just a love story, but the story of political intrigue, true love verses duty, passion, honor, great dangers and intensely loyal people. I would not only highly recommend this book, but will anxiously be awaiting this author’s new work.
Another great aspect … was the political intrigue. Danger surrounded every character and I steadily feared for their lives. The drama never stopped and it was great.
Vistaria Geography
La Vistaria de Escobedo, the formal name of Vistaria, but most people refer to the country as Vistaria.
A long chain of islands parallel with the Mexican coast, a good three hours out by power boat. Thin with mountainous spines. The main island is Isla de Montaña (Mountain Island). The island to the south where most of the malcontents come from, and where the hotly contested silver mine is located is called Pequeña del Sur. (South Rock)
On the main island, the capital of Vistaria is Nueva Sevilla and in the north is another major centre, Pascuallita.
Mejia (Me-hee-ya), on the west coast, over the mountains, is a centre for garment factories and other light industry.
