Time is theirs to keep. But it comes with a price.
In the early 23rd Century, vampires learned how to travel back in time, and created a time-tsunami that threatened life as we know it, until they corrected their mistake. They created the Chronometric Conservation Agency, which is tasked with preserving history and therefore protecting humanity’s future. The Touring arm of the Agency offers trips back into the real past, with vampire guides, called travellers.
When Natalia (Tally) Marta, vampire and traveller, takes her client to visit the siege of Stirling Castle in 1314, she is caught and held hostage for ransom by Robert MacKenzie, a Bruce clansman. Rob finds himself drawn to the wilful, stubborn and very different English lady he has captured and the relationship becomes an intimate, highly-charged sexual pairing. Swiftly, Tally and Rob realize their bond is more than sexual, that the emotions stirring their hearts are true.
Christian Lee Hamilton, vampire, one of the last true southern gentlemen, and Tally’s ex-lover, knows the 1314 time marker enough to jump back and help Tally return home. His arrival at Bannockburn adds complications, for Christian finds himself drawn to Rob MacKenzie as much as Tally is. But neither of them can stay in the past forever. To do so means certain death.
WARNING: This book contains two hot, sexy alpha heroes, frequent, explicit and frank sex scenes and sexual language. It includes heart-stopping sexual scenes between the aforementioned sexy heroes, menage scenes, and anal sex.
Do not proceed beyond this point if hot love scenes offend you.
No vampires were harmed in the making of this novel.

The first book in the Beloved Bloody Time series is a fun, steamy and exciting travel adventure. Bannockburn Binding is an entertaining and unique tale with an interesting concept of time travel with intriguing twists and turns. Tracy Cooper-Posey switches time periods smoothly throughout the story with great detail without overwhelming or confusing the reader. The settings are vividly painted drawing the reader into the story and making them feel like they are part of the adventure.
The chemistry between the three characters is scorching hot and the author arouses the imagination with explicit sex scenes, sexual language and menage and some anal sex. The reader can easily relate to the compelling characters and their emotions in this captivating read.
When it comes to time travel books I am a picky reader and I found this book to be a well written and engaging read with a smooth flowing plot, full of suspense, drama and two sexy alpha males that keeps the reader engaged and wanting more. The world created by the author is creative and fun with lots of potential and I am looking forward to reading the next book in this great series.

This beautifully crafted story has so much to it than it appears at first; the storylines are creative, the characters surprise us – over and over again- , and it’s so very well written that everything gets tied up in the end. It seems like the beginning of a series with a lot of twists and couples who are impossible not to cheer for!

BANNOCKBURN BINDING is an excellent vampire, time travel M/M/F novella. The characters are stellar, the relationship wonderful and the resolution totally surprised me but worked beautifully! I now claim myself a fan of this author.
Oh wow, is this a great read! I simply couldn’t put this down once I started. I love how the story is told in two parts: one, Tally and Rob, and later Rob, in 13th Century Scotland and two, present day 23rd Century in the Chronometric Conservation Agency. The story with the three lovers focus on relationships, sexual and emotional connections and the Chronometric Conservation Agency portion focuses on the stellar world-building. This combination made for a truly outstanding novella that I adored and think other readers will too.
The menage relationship starts as one between Tally and Rob and moves to incorporate Lee. This allowed believable emotional and sexual development between all three, including Lee and Rob. I loved how mature these three were about sex, emotions and their overall relationship. I really came to care about these three. The author didn’t dodge how difficult it was for Tally and Lee to explain themselves and their time travel capabilities to Rob and this provided an excellent and compelling story I couldn’t put down.
The world of time traveling vampires and the Chronometric Conservation Agency is so well conceived and written. I promise, no matter how much you read, this is a unique world. This complex world is well written and presented in a manner that didn’t overwhelm me. A lot of agents are included in the Chronometric Conservation Agency portion of the story and they’ll make excellent characters for subsequent books.
I don’t want to spoil how the Chronometric Conservation Agency portion of the story intersects with the resolution of the romance between Tally, Rob and Lee but I will say: OMG! I didn’t see this resolution coming but it was brilliantly executed and made absolute sense once I read it.
BANNOCKBURN BINDING is a MUST read for fans of well-written stories, as well as sexy M/M/F romance. I can’t wait to read future books in this series and give a hearty thank you to the author for writing such a marvelous story.
J9 for The Romance Reviews
I think vampire time-travel menages are going to be my new pick-me-up genre. Because I liiiiiike them. A lot.
So. Time travel. Vampires. The potential for BAD, BAD things if history is not maintained. Honestly, I like ALL THAT. Throw in a rousing round of sexin’ with a braw Scottish man who has a very open mind and things get even better.
While this is ultimately Rob, Tally and Lee’s story, there’s also a whole lot of plotting and maneuvering going on with the vampires in the present. Or the future. Or however you want to look at it. They’re holding steady as they wait out the events taking place in the past. Events which could affect all of them in some way, shape, or form.
It’s very complicated and fun and sexy. Did I mention the complicated part? Because on top of having to make sure that the past stays as it should, things are about to happen in the present/future that could put all vampires in jeopardy. Added bonus: the secondary characters all seem to have a lot of baggage and I can’t wait to unravel their tales.
Bottom line: sexy vampires who can travel through time and have wickedly hot threesomes are just my cup of tea. *thumbs up*
Kelly for Reading the Paranormal
Tracy Cooper-Posey has cemented her spot on my “auto buy” list with her latest release, Bannockburn Binding. The first in Beloved Bloody Time series, it takes the vampire, time travel, futuristic, and M/M/F genres and meshes them in such a way that only Tracy Cooper-Posey can do. I’ve never been a fan of futuristic, sci-fi or time-travel books, but the characters and worlds that Tracy builds for her readers is impossible not to love. … I can’t wait for this series to continue. There are so many different ways that Tracy Cooper-Posey could take this storyline and if history truly does repeat itself, I’m positive she won’t disappoint.
Rhonda for Vampire Romance Books
Bannockburn Binding is the first book in the Beloved Bloody Time series by Tracy Cooper-Posey. If the other books are like this one they will all be a homerun. The storyline combines the best of time travel, vampires, mmf bisexual menage, suspense, and romance. I know it seems like a tall order but this book really delivers.
The story is set in the 23rd century. Natalia Marta is a time travel agent/escort that takes travelers to their desired destination in history. While on a traveling adventure Natalia is abducted by Robert Mackenzie. While his intent is to hold her hostage and keep her from harm the tables turn and he becomes a willing prisoner to the passion between them. Their chemistry was so realistic I could feel the sizzle. I loved that the author allowed the female to take the lead in their affair. It was hot, hot, hot, and our lead male was a more than willing student. Despite being from different times their love was so sweet that I found myself crying thinking about the time they would have to leave each other. A sudden turn of events makes it even more crucial that Natalia return to her time. Fellow time traveler, Christian Lee Hamilton, arrives on the scene to rescue Natalia but finds he may be in need of rescue because he is attracted to Robert. This is the point where I really couldn’t tear myself away from the book. I was totally vested in the characters and the storyline—wondering how could they leave Rob and stay healthy. I literally stayed up and read through the night to make sure they were going to be okay. It turns out that they are more than okay and there is a surpise twist that you will love at the end.
I’ve read many of Tracy Cooper-Posey’s books, and I’m happy to report that this one lands among my most favorite. The menage scenes are tastefully written and involve consenting adults that are engaged in a polyamorous relationship. The vampire element is downplayed with no gruesome scenes. It’s a very enjoyable read.

Amazingly sensuous and visual. Have read more of her books and they continue to surprise and captivate my senses. Looking forward to the next adventure.

Bannockburn Binding is an amazing tale which contains a unique and fresh plot. The characters were so strong and vividly depicted. I loved how I got the chance to watch Tally and Robert fall in love before Christian came into the picture. The way Ms. Cooper-Posey wrote these fantastic scenes really had me feeling as if I was sitting in a theatre and watching some Shakespearian play being acted out. The story had me so emotional unbalanced that I was afraid to read another page in case their happiness came crashing down, and yet I knew I had to finish or suffer the agonizing question of “what if they do find a way to make this romance work?”. Once Christian entered the picture, the story’s intensity was tripled as the obstacles became even harder to jump over and the love the characters found with each other seemed to boil over uncontrollably. This is one hot tale with an ending that definitely caught me completely by surprise. I cannot wait to read more novels in this series!

I’ve read so many historical/time travel books that disappointed me. This one? It was AMAZING. In fact, I’m going to read it all over again just so I can savor the different POVs better. I was really, really surprised by this book. In fact, I just bought Byzantine Heartbreak without even bothering to download a sample. I never do that. Never.

Loved this! Very unique and inventive twist on vamps/time travel. This was my first book from this author, but it won’t be my last! Thank you for keeping me up ALL NIGHT when I knew I shouldn’t. I couldn’t put it down.
Anonymous Reader – Barnes & Noble
I took a chance on this book because of the sexual content that I was not used to. I’m glad I did. It was tastefully written and opened my eyes a little more to non-traditional relationships and sex between those who love each other. My thanks to the author for expanding my views. I thoroughly loved this book.
Laurie Dominas – Goodreads
When it seems all books have so much in common, it is hard to find one that is truly new. Ms. Tracy Cooper-Posey created a wonderful story, with delightful characters and although the story is set in the future and in the past… the storyline is incredible. I must confess I’m dying to read the next book in the series!
Dolce Amore for Booked Up Reviews
THIS IS A “SMOKIN’-HOT” GOOD READ! I have to agree with another reviewer when she said…… “WOW!”, this is EXACTLY how I felt after reading this book. I really got sucked into the story……… so much so, that I borrowed the next book in the series and have already read that one! Now, I am, NOT SO PATIENTLY ;) , waiting for the next book. (LOL) I can HONESTLY say that I would highly recommend this book and ‘BYZANTINE HEARTBREAK‘ if you enjoy some Tastefully, but SMOKIN`HOT, erotica with a really interesting story-line that will HAVE YOU WANTING MORE! HAPPY READING EVERYONE…..
This isn’t just an erotic romance, it’s a unique love story that transcends time, literally. With intense action and constant twists and turns you’ll want to finish it in one sitting! The ending comes together seamlessly and I love that the author avoided a cliffhanger and gives the reader a happy ending. Tracy Cooper-Posey’s intriguing characters will quickly make their way into your hearts and wanting more of her time traveling vampires!

Stirling, Scotland, 1314
Laying seige could be a mighty boring business.
Rob found himself south of Stirling Castle, giving his horse a slack rein and enjoying the cool April air. This far away, the noises Edward’s troops made as they surrounded the castle were silenced. Instead, the natural sounds of the woods emerged.
That was why he found the lass. Oh, she was quiet enough to be sure, but her manservant made the basic error of moving upon dry leaves.
In a heartbeat Rob was on them, his dagger against her throat, leaning over them from his saddle. She stood slim and tall, still as a statue, no fright in her face.
Her manservant looked set to expire. He trembled and flinched at the snorts and sidesteps of Rob’s warhorse, while his eyes stayed wide upon the blade at his mistress’ throat.
“Now, here’s a pretty picture,” Rob declared. “What might a wee lass like you be doing wandering the wastes of the Bannock burn?”
The manservant clutched at the rich blue fabric of her gown in a most unseemly way and murmured in her ear. Advice. Entreaty. She spoke quietly in reply, low enough that he could not hear the words. It mattered not a wit. Rob waited out their conference with unusual patience. The day was a fine one, he had nothing else to do and she was a pleasing distraction.
She finally looked him square in the eye again. Her own eyes were a dark, dark brown. Almost black. “M’lord, I wandered too close to Stirling Castle,” She spoke with a soft lowland Scots lilt. “With your leave, I would be on my way and your day untrammelled by a manservant’s stupidity.” At that, she glared at her servant. Clearly, he had led her astray.
“Why would ye be abroad at such a time?”
“I…er…I was collecting the last of the mushrooms,” she responded.
Rob slid to the ground and stepped closer to her. She was tall for a woman, and came up to his shoulder. He snatched her wrist, pulling it up behind her back. “Then where be ye basket, my lady?”
The servant moaned, clearly distressed beyond sense.
Rob had both hands in use, so he jabbed sharply with his elbow, smashing the man’s nose and dropping him to the ground. It would shut the man up, at the very least.
The lady widened her eyes, but spoke no word of protest.
“That’s two lies I’ve caught ye in,” Rob told her. “Do ye care to spare me more by telling me the truth?”
She swallowed. The movement drew his gaze to her throat. It was pale, slender and pure. No gauze hid it from his sight, although her hair was behind a veil. Her gown was of some fine, thick material, but failed to disguise the willow-suppleness of her figure.
“I have not lied to ye,” she retorted, still showing no fear.
Her manservant rolled on the ground beside her, his hands to his face. He examined the blood coating his fingers and looked up at her. “Jesus H. Christ…” he slurred, his voice congested by the blood. “He’s broken my goddam nose!”
Rob’s heart thudded hard. The man’s accent was strange and he spoke English—an odd type of English, one that Rob had never heard before. But any English was an insult to his ears.
He grabbed the girl’s arm before she could react, pulled out his sword and swapped it for his knife, resting the blade against her throat. “Three falsehoods. Ye man is English or I’ll eat my own gizzards. So what does that make you, hmmm?”
“M’lord, ye canna think—”
He shook her, halting her words. “Ye speak as I do, right enough, but you wear the garments of a lady and there’s naught Scots ladies to be found round here. They’ve all repaired to the highlands ‘til the King routs the bloody English.”
She was pure bred and of high enough station to look him square in the eye. “You must release me. My family—”
“Might be willing to part with the odd coin or two for ye return, I’m thinking,” Rob finished softly. He found he was staring at her eyes again. The colour was a wonder. Rich, dark, mysterious. “Mushroom gathering requires a basket and ye’ve none about ye,” he added.
“I left it by the burn.”
“I wager no basket exists.”
“You must let me go,” she repeated as firmly as she could, but Rob saw the shallow, frantic throbbing of her blood in the sweet curve of her throat.
“I must do nothing you say of me,” he told her. “I am Robert David Bruce MacKenzie, cousin and officer to Edward Bruce, and cousin to Robert the Bruce, King of Scotland. “ He smiled grimly. “And you, my lady, are my prisoner and at my command.”
